EU- Packaging-Guideline (2004/12/EG)

The European Packaging Directive 94/62/EC of 20 December 1994 has been incorporated as an amendment to 2004/12/EC. In the scope of the Packaging Directive, all packaging (regardless of material) arising in industry, trade, administration, commerce, services and households.

The objectives of the Directive include the prevention of packaging waste by limiting the packaging volume and weight as well as substance restrictions of certain hazardous and noxious substances. For example, packages with weight concentrations above 100 ppm of lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium are prohibited. Other requirements that are placed on packaging in the Packaging Directive include, reuse and material, energy, and bioavailability.

Through the Packaging Directive there are similar labeling requirements for packaging, however from Member State to Member State there are separate collection and reporting systems. We support your company in meeting your reporting requirements and help you to keep track of different country-specific registration and reporting requirements.

In addition, we have will create a in accordance to EN 13427.
