EU- WEEE -Guidelines (2012/19/EU)

On the 13.08.2012 the EU Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE recast) on Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment came into force in order to replace the previously valid EC Directive 2002/96/EC on February, 15th 2014.

The key issue for manufacturers and importers revolve around the registration and reporting requirements as well as the financing in terms of electrical and electronic equipment from private households.

Since this directive stems from a  directive, the national implementations within the European Union may differ. Device mappings are taken at national level, so it is possible that one and the same device is subject to different requirements in different countries according to WEEE.

We are happy to give you information about whether and under what conditions your equipment is affected by the WEEE Directive.

We will support you in fulfilling your WEEE obligations under the laws applicable in your country in accordance with WEEE Directive and will forecast the expected ensuing cost.

You are able to find further information about the topic of "registration and reporting requirements" on the page:
